Join Jennifer Chen-su Huang, Hua Xi Zi, Taro Takizawa, Kiyomi Negi and Kioto Aoki for a discussion around their identities as artists, as Asian artists, and as Asians living and working in the US – and how 思考回路 • Shikoukairo II recontextualizes this complex relationship between the personal integrity and social responsibility.
A special livestream concert event featuring 2019 Chicago Obihiro Exchange Project artist Hiroshi Mehata and Chicago musicians Tatsu Aoki, Rami Atassi, Charles Rumback and Terry Tiger Tanaka as they form a new quartet, Bass Dreams -B. Hiroshi will be joining from Tokyo, Japan for a solo electronics set while the quartet formed especially for this evening will be streaming from Elastic Arts.
